A group of concerned citizens have been devoting their time since 1995 to the restoration of Point San Luis Lighthouse. The lighthouse is being meticulously restored to represent a period in the early twentieth century. Every Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M., individuals and families (children 9 and up) are invited to join a docent led 3.5 mile (round trip) hike on a first come, first served basis. At the end of the hike, docents lead you on a tour of the San Luis Lighthouse. No pets or smoking are allowed.
